It's Fun To Be One

I'm finally playing catch up on my blog. I'm so sorry to those families who haven't received blog time yet. I do promise to get them up here at some point. Lately I've been more worried with finishing and releasing galleries than sharing all the fun I've had... I'm sad to admit. But today I'm going to share two cute sessions with you. Look out!
Here's little Crew as he's turning one. He had a vintage sock monkey birthday party so his mom and I had so much fun setting up everything so that his prints would add to the decor for his party.

Fun, Chaotic, and Full of Laughter

This adorable mom called me shortly before her oldest son's baptism to see if we can do some pics of him, his cousin (who is his BFF and who has the same birthday), and a few family shots. I was totally up for it! All this fun in one session? Heck ya!! When she arrived we realized we were wearing the exact same shoes, our kids are about the exact same ages, her nephew went to school with my oldest for two years, our husbands wrestled each other in high school, and we have a few mutual friends. We had way too much in common. :) It made this session even more fun! Afterwards, when I started going through their session and saw this family shot, I about died (in a good way). Having three kids this age myself, I can attest that this is such a good representation of what like is like... Fun, chaotic, and full of laughter. This is so authentic and not a posey-posey family pic. I absolutely adore this photo and, quite honestly, this entire family.

These boys have super vibrant, amazing eyes.... And boy do I love cool eyes!
So in case you're wondering what the younger boys were doing while we were having all this picture-fun... Here's a glimpse at what sent this mom into a panic because this was BEFORE we did their family shots.  I couldn't help but laugh (and quickly snap this shot) because it's something that would totally happen to me. But it all worked out perfectly and made for some great laughs; that's for sure.
